He writes in an engaging way that communicates clearly and succinctly with humor and grace. The truths he imparts and the wisdom he conveys are timeless. The fact that Eric continually points people back to the truth of the Gospel, to the fact that Jesus desires them to have a fruitful life is what makes this book so good. Truths are illustrated with real life examples that convey the power of what he is talking about. I have known Eric for more than 25 years and I can say that I have seen him live out these truths in his life. This is a book I have purchased for my daughters and plan to give to several others in my life as well. I highly recommend purchasing it. It will serve as a resource for me as I work with people in their formative years and as a resource for myself as I check how I am doing in dealing with barriers that would keep me from being the kind of soil that produces abundant fruit, 30, 60 and even 100 fold.
